Displaying fresh flowers is such an easy and effective way of home decoration.

It instantly adds color and lifts up the vibe of our home.

Especially in spring when the variety of flowers in the market is plentiful, using them as part of the interior decor is easy, effective and not very expensive.

So here I am, sharing with you, kitchen utensils I often use to style fresh flowers in my house. This will really come handy when in and around birthdays in your home when you fall short of flower vases. Unless of course you like to let your utensils multitask.

These are ceramic, metallic or glass utensils and are easily found lying in an unattended corner of the cabinet you seldom open.

Ceramic Mugs: Every body owns atleast a couple of big ceramic mugs. And they look as stunning holding your tea or coffee as they do when they hold fresh flowers.

Metal utensils like lota, bottles: Even if you are some one who is into Tupperware bottles, you must have at least one metal jug or bottle. Which metal will not make any difference, they all look lovely as flower vase. And that is what is my next pick to store your fresh flowers. This looks rustic and beautiful.

Glass tall glasses or jugs, or glass bottles once washed and cleaned. This I bet you have already done quite a few times. I do this all the time too. Almost fool proof make shift vase.
